We´re continuing with our series of Bible teaching from the book of
Acts called ‘family values’, looking at the issues and priorities that
formed and shaped the early church, in order to help us develop
the life of our own church family here in Cannes. Today we’re
thinking about obedience.
Our reading today follows on from last week, Peter and John have
been taken back to court after being miraculously released from
prison. When Peter is challenged about why they are still talking
about Jesus, even when the court has forbidden it, they reply, ‘we
must obey God rather than men!’
