We’re in chapter 3 of Mark’s gospel today, catching up with Jesus,
right at the beginning of his public ministry. His teaching and his
healing miracles have not gone un-noticed by the religious leaders
of the day. The family of Jesus are fearful, so they say he’s out of
his mind, and the religious leaders accuse Jesus of being possessed
by an evil spirit. When it comes to Jesus, some say he’s mad, others
say he’s bad.
