Whom shall I send?…
What stands out in this story from Acts 8.26-40 is that a very
unlikely candidate for conversion to Christ is found and converted
through the supernatural leading of the Lord himself, and not
through human planning.
The story of Philip and the Ethiopian teaches us one of the ways
God uses to evangelise the world. It’s what one does if one loves
Jesus and loves people. You tell the good news. Jesus already gave
us a command to be about it in the Great Commission. So you
don’t have to have an angel of the Lord to tell you to do it…
