Dear brothers and sisters,

As we head back to England, we want to thank you for all these years we’ve shared together and for your love, encouragement and prayers.

Last Sunday was a day of mixed emotions for us all, but it was lovely to be with you and say farewell. Thanks to all who laid on the wonderful fellowship lunch, and for all your kind words in the cards you have given us.

When Judith said there might be a parting gift, I was hoping for a comb, but instead you have been exceedingly generous: thank you for your kindness. We shall put the money towards the car we’re planning to buy in England (or a few thousand combs). Chris says we’ve got plenty of combs, so it’ll be the car, then!

We look forward to hearing all the great things God is going to do at Holy Trinity in the months and years to come. May he bless you all richly.
