Our chaplain is retiring

Our chaplain Giles Williams has announced that he will be retiring at the end of November. This means a vacancy until we find a new chaplain. The church council has already met with Richard Bromley, director of our patrons the Intercontinental Church Society, to discuss the steps that will need to be taken.

We are grateful that ICS and our archdeacon Peter Hooper will be supporting the church, and specifically the church council through the process. Minutes of a meeting held (by zoom) with Richard are on the notice board in the church and outline the stages we need to progress through.

More information will be available over the coming weeks and months, but most important, please pray! Pray for Giles and Chris as they prepare for a new stage in life, for the church council in all their discussions, especially that the Holy Spirit will guide them.
